The Royal Barbados Police Force is cautioning truck drivers against speeding.

Drivers could be charged with the offense of excessive speed for driving above the speed limit.

This warning came from Sergeant Seibert Johnson yesterday after a one-vehicle accident involving a truck in Mile and a Quarter, St. Peter.

The truck ran off the road.

Johnson told Loop News that he wants drivers to “restrict the high speeding knowing that their maximum speed is 50 km/h”.
