Vincy family issues a reward for information on family member's murder

The family of a Vincentian Port Officer are offering thousands of dollars to anyone with information about her murder.
Police in St Vincent and the Grenadines issued the notice about the reward.
"The family of the late Koreen Latham Charles is soliciting the assistance from the general public [in St Vincent] in obtaining any information that will aid with the investigation and lead to the apprehension and prosecution of the offender(s) in this matter. An EC $5,000.00 (USD $1,850) reward is being offered."
Members of the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of the 35-year-old Port Officer of Fairbaine Pasture which occurred on July 23, 2020.
According to the Vincentian Police Public Relations and Complaints Department, police were informed of a female in distress in the community of Fairbaine Pasture with what appeared to be gunshot wounds about her body on July 23. She was subsequently rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) to seek medical attention but later succumbed to her injuries.
A post mortem examination was to be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
The Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force is also seeking the assistance of the public in obtaining any information that will lead to the apprehension and prosecution of the offender(s) in this matter.
Persons with information are asked to contact the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Crime in St Vincent at 1-784-456-1339 or the officer in charge of the South Central Division at 1-784-458-4200 or any police officer or police station they are comfortable with. All information will be dealt with confidentially. Investigations are ongoing.
