It is a great vibe at the Bob Marley Museum as the reggae legend's 75th birthday celebration gets into full swing.

People from across the globe are gathered at the Kingston landmark to hail the man who remains an influential figure nearly four decades after his death from cancer in 1981.

Indeed, the museum has been a beehive of activity on Thursday, with thousands packing inside the venue for the annual event to celebrate the life of the reggae legend.

Marley's memorabilia are on display for those who want to take away a piece of the famed Rastafarian - these include t-shirts, caps, paintings, music, ital stew and natural juices.

Also on sale are items depicting the images of National Hero Marcus Garvey and Ethiopian ruler, Emperor Haile Selassie; the Rastafarian colours and ganja, which was embraced by Marley and made him synonymous with marijuana culture.

Of course, there is also the wonderful sounds of reggae music blasting through the speakers. It's Jammin! See more pics in the slider below.
